4K HDR and 4K Upscaling
With a compatible TV, enjoy the stunning depth and realism of the 4K HDR picture. Boosting colour and contrast for a more realistic picture, this player supports HDR10 (with Dolby Vision HDR available via firmware upgrade from July 2018). And if you don't have an HDR TV, Sony's HDR-SDR conversion tech intelligently scales HDR’s ultra-wide brightness range into an SDR image for improved picture quality. Meanwhile, BT.2020 colour spaces offers a wider colour range than standard players, so all the hues in nature can be authentically reproduced. With 4K 60p upscaling, you’ll experience your favourite movies in four-times the detail of Full HD.
