presents many interesting functions, the first one is that you will resolve any existing cable problem between the microphone handler and the recording source (camera, camcorder, smartphone, MP3 recorder...)!
Based on the RØDELink system, with its 8 separated channels, with this RX-CAM receiver, you will be able to group different transmitters, which means different microphones, in your audio sequence!
Transmitters can be different as the Røde TX-XLR or the Røde TX-BELT, and then, recording simultaneously (or not) handled or lavalier microphones!
But, what does RØDELink means exactly ?
RØDELink (https://www.rode.com/rodelink) represents the next generation of digital wireless systems. Using a Series II 2.4GHz digital transmission with 128-bit encryption, it is able to constantly monitor and hop between frequencies to maintain the strongest possible signal level at a range of up to 100 meters** (over 100 yards).
RØDELink is so intuitive that it works straight out of the box, with no channel selection necessary. For users with multiple RØDELink devices the system offers eight discreet channels that can be set up in seconds.
