Will there be a new Samsung phone in 2024?
The Samsung S24 has been rumoured to be released next year, in January 2024! And we cannot wait to see this new device and what it will bring to tech! With AI becoming huge over the past year, we cannot wait to see the changes in this new device compared to the previous models. Maybe you are thinking of upgrading and want to know what to expect.
In this blog, we take a look at the upcoming Samsung galaxy s24 and compare it to the Samsung galaxy s23. Please note that this blog is completely based on rumours, none of the statements in this blog are confirmed and these points are only what we are summarising.
So let's begin with the rumoured differences between the Samsung S23 and Galaxy S24 series.
Will the S24 ultra look like the S23 ultra?
The first difference is the Samsung S24 release date, set to release in January 2024 which is a month earlier than the normal, annual February month release. Focussing on the actual phone, fans expect to see a substantial camera improvement to the S24 thanks to the possible new chip system, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which will make the phone operate much faster and smoother.
Considering the exterior, Samsung fans guess the S24 will have less rounded edges compared to the Galaxy S23 and is also expected the phone will take inspiration from the iPhone 15, with new possible material. The S24 is rumoured to be a lot taller and slimmer compared to the S23, whilst still maintaining the previous model's bump-less camera module and trio of lenses. As well as this, it's believed the S24 will have new Galaxy AI features following the popularity that is ChatGPT.
Finally, fans are hoping for a brighter display for the S24, which makes viewing the screen in all weathers and environments simple. Although there is no confirmed Samsung S24 price, we are assuming it will be similar to the current Samsung S23 with a possible Samsung galaxy s24 ultra being released shortly after.

Overall, there is no huge difference between the new Samsung and the previous S23 series. The main difference appears to be the new processing chip, and we cannot wait to see how this differs from the previous.
