1- How to make affordable Easter baskets?

Ordered a watch, computer accessory or other smaller tech pieces? Use the small cardboard boxes as an easter basket to store your finds in! Because your box will already arrive in a ‘basket-like’ shape it won’t be too difficult to create the actual basket. Simply find some extra cardboard/material or use another brown box and add a handle to the side of the box to carry around. What’s better is that once your Easter egg hunt is finished, the basket can easily be broken down and recycled.

This quick do-it-for-yourself idea is a great money saver and a good way to keep your little ones entertained. You could even let them decorate their Easter basket however they’d like!

2. How do you make clues for the Easter egg hunt?

Speaking of Easter egg hunts, are you looking to make your search even more exciting? Why not decorate your house with some Easter Hunt signs to surprise your youngsters? These can be easily created by outlining the actual sign on the cardboard, then cutting it out and decorating how you’d like. Stick them up on the wall, lean them up against the wall or if you’re looking to take your signs outdoors, get some extra cardboard and attach to the bottom of the sign. Then, it can be stuck into a plant pot, soil, or soft grass outside.

Cardboard is very durable too so don’t worry about your sign getting damaged outside… just don’t leave it out there for too long!
