PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
There are many portable external displays on the market, but few have as many video inputs as the Bosstouch PM156. The device is 12 mm thick and weighs just 720g, but it has a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a mini DisplayPort, a mini HDMI port along with two USB Type-C ports. One Type-C port just supplies power for when you are using HDMI or DisplayPort, while the second is a Thunderbolt 3 port that delivers USB 3.1 Gen 2 speeds, DisplayPort out, data and power.
The PM156 measures 230 x 375 mm, which gives its 15.6-inch IPS panel rather thick bezels, at least by 2019 standards. The display supports 10-point multitouch and is rated to reach a maximum brightness of 400 cd/m² with a 1,000:1 contrast ratio. Moreover, the PM156 has an 85 Hz refresh rate and a 178° viewing angle. The IPS panel should have stable viewing angles too, making the PM156 readable from side-on.
