It features a micro 4/3" sensor, fast 24mm lens and manual controls to give you complete command over your photos and videos. It's a level of control usually only found on more complex cameras. The LX100 features a sensor that's up to seven times the surface area as other compact cameras. It'll help to deliver vastly superior low light performance, saturation and defocussed bokeh capture.

Leica Lens
The 24-75mm f1.7-2.8 Leica lens offers improved creative flexibility. The wider angle is helpful for squeezing more into a shot, particularly in cramped circumstances. A fast aperture will allow for improved low light capture and blur reduction. It also uses nine diaphragm blades to ensure smoother background defocus gradation, making your subject appear sharper than ever.

Manual controls
Analogue aperture, focus, shutter and exposure controls, provide greater freedom to alter your shot quickly and accurately. You'll soon be making changes instinctively to get the more creative shot you crave.

4K Video
4K video capture will allow you to record greater clarity, depth of detail and colour. It also allows you more flexibility when editing. Apply techniques such as stabilisation and pans without losing quality when exporting to full HD. You can even extract individual frames as 8MP images from 4K videos shot at 30fps.
